Moderate earthquake strikes eastern Japan

A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Japan on Wednesday, affecting Ibaraki Prefecture and sending noticeable tremors across parts of central Tokyo. The seismic event caused brief concern among residents, particularly in urban areas where shaking was clearly felt.
