A small earthquake was reported in White County Friday, making it the first in Arkansas this year.
According to data from the United States Geological Survey, a 2.9 magnitude earthquake was reported around 12:15 a.m. near Pangburn and Searcy.
Data shows that the earthquake likely caused no damage with weak to little shaking.
