A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck the western Peloponnese early Sunday, with its epicenter near Nea Figaleia in Ilia.
The quake occurred at 2.13 a.m. and had a depth of 20 kilometers, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
It was felt in several areas of the Peloponnese, particularly in Ilia, Arcadia and Messinia. No injuries or damage have been reported.
