An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 struck northern Pakistan on Tuesday at 19:17 GMT, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter was located approximately 103 kilometers north of Barishal, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The USGS reported that the quake’s coordinates were initially determined at 37.25 degrees north latitude and 74.61 degrees east longitude.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage following the seismic event. Authorities continue to monitor the situation, while residents in nearby areas reported feeling the tremor.
